butter! cool hor? quite yummy lah.

we chose the set meal, soup of the day was potato and leek soup, okay not too leeky. i ordered fried tripe (supposed to be beef but doesnt taste like beef, mediocre).

3x main course, all same same: pan-seared chicken with mushrooms and pine nuts. tasty, the only redeeming dish i would say.

desserts are really sucky i would say. this lemon tart ish thing which tasted like mama lemon, rock melon sorbet tasted smelly-sour, peppermint ice cream tasted like toothpaste. -_-

the only acceptable dessert is the chocolate mousse. maybe it might be better if there's chocolate souffle (which was unavailable that day).

group photo! only 50% turnout as our clique dropped off due to busy work schedules and whatnots. sigh, friends getting lesser.

then we toured around the boutique hotel to cheer us up after disappointing desserts.

we requested to go to the rooms to take a look and the kind friendly recept brought us to one room each floor!

4 floors, 29 rooms in total, many many different themes. but my favorite is the one on 3rd floor with the popart theme!

princess room! so pretty hor?? $200+ per night. maybe next time can go there.

randomly after that i had bubble tea craving and went Gong Cha @ PS to try. Koi still better lah.

we had bbq at esther's husband-to-be's hse! according to esther, it's "one last time" b4 it's being handed over to the new owner, even tho i havent been there b4. ahahaha.

it's siti's bd the next day, nic showed up with a cake as a surprise. but then she's like not veri surprised lidat leh. very unsurprised bd girl. haha.

this is how i packed my wintery clothes..

buy vacuum bag from Winter Time $9.90 (same thing costs more at Planet Traveller).

stack the thick wintery clothes together, take a picture of a "before" shot. lols.

placed em into the vacuum bag.

seal it tight w the clippy thingy.

release the knob at the bottom of the bag, and squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!!

alternatively u can use a vacuum cleaner to take out all e air lah. haha.

Platinum Mall!!! it's hugeeeeee!!! we were literally there shopping from 10am-7pm lor.

ahehehehe.

our buys from platinum! i think i bot 6 dresses, 1 skirt, 6 t-shirts.

beefie's not too lacklustre either, 9 t-shirts! it's realli a gd place to shop! w aircon!

when platinum started to close for the day, we went over to the nearby (okay not v near also,

10min walk) Central World Plaza for NaRaYa!!!

love their pouches! so cute! sweeeeeeep!

i din see any burnt parts to the Central World building tho, either they restored it or it's dark

so i couldnt see properly.

Chatuchak Market! it's been raining for 2 straight days since we were there, so it was really good weather to shop at chatuchak, not hot!

my MAN bangla! who very poor thing had to carry our shopping everyday. xoxo lah! hurhur.he was kinda in a "gay uniform" tho, said some guys wearing e same things as him was checking

him out in the male toilet. ahahahaha.

after chatuchak we went off to Siam Paragon for Wacoal (for me, not beefie). then on the way to MBK to buy foodstuffs, we saw this ridiculously long queue for Krispy Kreme!

donut craze, we've had it before alr! hurhur.

buys for the day! not as much as platinum tho.

went back to platinum to get a replacement for my cowboy hat (haiz), n to get some stuffs we missed out on day 1. i bot 2 blouses, beefie bot 4 berms i tink.

on e way back to hotel to collect our luggage, passed by this stall near our hotel that finally sells chang beer singlet n others (u have no idea how hard we tried to find the signature chang beer singlet!)....

a beefy brand coca-cola print singlet for beefie! lols.

took the newly commenced Bangkok City Rail Link to the airport, no need to get stuck in jams and we were in the airport within 30min! our hotel happened to be very near one of the stops.

we love Bangkok! despite being conned by fake Somboon!

i did a rough calculation of the total savings from all the things we bought in bkk vs sg, save abit ba. but then all these "savings" are on things that we want and not need. hurhur. oh well, watever~~~

sizzler hot in bangkok~

shu shu told me to try Sizzler in Bangkok cuz he said it's much cheaper there. that's the Central World Plaza branch.

we ordered a half rack ribs and southwestern chicken, total 700Baht 30SGD. in sg it'll cost abt SGD50 in total? isit? donno, i only noe tat food's pretty gd. haha.

u wont be able to guess wats our 1st meal in bkk: indian food! hurhur. somehow our hotel is located in the indian area, and that is the only decent eating place that is still opened at that hour.

very good quality food, it changed my mind about indian food. ahahaha.

Fuji Restaurant @ Platinum Mall, which supposedly has cheap sashimi, but somehow the 5 slices of salmon sashimi we ate costs SGD10. -_-

but the japanese bento there is delish, slightly cheaper than sg.

random diner at Chatuchak, uberrrr yummyyyyy phat thai! little did we expect that even the phat thai at the air-conditioned Platinum foodcourt cannot win this dingy place's!

beefie's soupy glass noodle dish is mediocre, however. friggin cheap meal! midget portion though.

final meal in bkk, at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the green curry is so-so nia. but then it's surprisingly cheap.

my fav thai iced milk tea! had to have it at least once everyday! *slurps* that's my last one there.
