the mourning of the end of my almost 3years of youth started with farewell party at Switched....

then i received some surprise farewell gifts from some sweeties....

and then i thought of what gifts to return all within a shower LOL.

sanitary set for the very kor-tak hygiene-conscious Ah Hai. wahahahah seriously i cant stop LOL-ing once i thought of the idea!

makeup remover that i personally swear by for Ah Yaa who is into drawing eyeliners lately. sickly and uptight her refused to pose for the photo.

sunblock that i personally swear by as well, for Sab who is into whitening nowadays.

USB fan for Ah De who always leech off mine. she's on mc that day wahahaha.

korean phrasebook for the 贵人 who decided to hire me, she's quite a fellow k-siao recently. haha.

awwwwww i love these girls so so much!

bought an Awfully Chocolate cake for the whole department as farewell souvenir.

polled a couple peeps on which colour suits my mint dress better.

and mint won! it turned out really minty though. pretty unnatural colour to put on fingernails. haha.

but i think it looks fine with my dress hurhur.

on the way to Sisi's wedding at La Villa, River Valley Road. i think the cab driver buey tahan my camwhoring. hahahhaah.

there's a cotton candy machine at the wedding! quite cute lah. the venue is quite twilight-style, romantic but its really abit too small. but food's fantastic! strongly recommend their potato gratin and marinara pasta and steak!

me: wah then whoever nabbed the 龟公 must be super happy, actually caught a criminal who kept such tidy books. wahahahaha~

papa chan thinks those 嫖客 are just damn suay, but i think they are just stupid. u know its illegal yet u still do it, especially when u are someone of high status. u really think u 100% wont get caught meh? dont do it if u dont wanna get caught!

Friday i watched The Vow and went The Wine Company @ Sentosa Boardwalk with colleagues (again)
Saturday i mahjong-ed with runnies and lost $5.50
Sunday i went to sweep tomb.

there goes. super fast. bah. super Monday blues~~~

anyways, highly recommend The Wine Company @ Sentosa Boardwalk! surprisingly not crowded and ambience is fantastic! love the lychee donno-what white wine~~

do u know that Shangri La is actually a place?

per Wikipedia, apparently Shangri La started as a mythical place mentioned in some angmoh's book. then some other angmoh explorers who explored the exotic areas of Tibet and China also hailed such a place. that was back in early 1900s.

then Tibet, Yunnan, Nepal, Bhutan started to claim that Shangri La is located in their country. until 2001, a part of Yunnan officially named itself Shangri La County.

yeps so my sudden interest in Shangri La was after i watched this movie by Sammi Cheng and Louis Koo.

LOL what else do u expect from a couch potato.

apparently the movie is filmed in Shangri La, and i thought the location was beautiful and romantic.

i dont understand Sammi Cheng's hair for the first half of the movie though. she looked like she's wearing a black mop on her head. LOL~

and Louis Koo was sporting that fugly beard almost 80% of the time in the movie. eugh~

then i went to google actual images of Shangri La....

hmm but like not as beautiful and romantic as in the feel in the movie. haha. it's a place i think will be cool to go but i wont be keen to go cuz i dont tink i can stand the extreme cold and thin air.
