we assembled at DFS Galleria at 630am on a Saturday morning, boarded e coach which brought us from Sg to Tanjong Gemok in Malaysia.
where we transferred to a ferry terminating at Pulau Tioman.
Pulau Tioman is actually a small and quiet island, thriving on tourism. veri laid back place, and obviously not very developed.
Berjaya Tioman Beach Resort's sibeh retro bus drove us from e ferry terminal to e resort....
where we checked into adjoining villa-style Rooms 378 & 379!
there are 4 rooms per villa, which is veri South-East Asian in architectural style.
pretty cosy and relaxing feel in e resort~
Dor took a photo of us frm ground floor, so i returned her e favour by taking a photo of her from e top floor! hahaha~
it was 3pm by e time we reached e resort, very long journey there. but judging on how much fun we had at Tioman, e 8+hrs of travelling time wasnt all taT bad lahz.
oh, cuz e resort is pretty huge, they have buggy cars to ferry guests around. buggy rides are not always available tho, so most of e time we walk.
e hunt for food: we had lunches at e restaurants in e resort. wasnt too exorbitantly-priced. abt SGD11 for tat fantastically delicious Tioman Club Sandwich.
Ting's Nasi Goreng set is abit more costly, abt SGD12 i rem. but she said it tastes quite well.
ditto for Dor's Myanmar-Styled Spicy Chicken. too bad my tummy hadnt recovered enough for me to try spicy food. sigh~their restaurant ambience n deco is quite awesome right, sibeh gd place to just chill n relax.
welcome drink! which we actually only drank on our last meal in Tioman, more like goodbye drink. haha~too much photos ahz, gotta separate into 3 posts. nx post then we hit e beach. be patient~ hehe~
