zen and gen's bdae, to be exact! jul/aug 2009, this post is like 6mths late?? lol.
we went to this peranakan place called The Arch Restaurant at Seah Street (just checked out hungrygowhere.com and it appeared tat this restaurant closed down alr lol).
ordered this lemongrass drink, which totally doesnt look potable but doesnt taste as bad as it looks.
seriously i cant rem wat this is, but i tink it's assam fatty pork dish. okay nia, dont know how to appreciate.
i believe this is e ayam buah keluak, super acquired taste. personally wont try it ever again.
this, is gd. then again, this is just a simple sambal kang kong.
best dish muz be e nonya laksa! it tastes halfway betw fried hokkien prawn mee n laksa! my fav dish for e night! n the restaurant's lifesaver, i wld say.
if my memory doesnt fail me, this is a veri inexpensive meal, but servings are pretty small. to be honest i'll only consider gg back for the laksa, but since it alr closed down i wont get to go back anymore lol.n zen was like 1hr late?? so she wasnt in e early photos we took at e restaurant.
then zen arrived n the bdae girls can finally snap a photo tog!

proceed to Long Bar at Raffles Hotel for after dinner drinks!
gen's mojito tastes realli weird, n the waiter said tats cuz they use a different kinda funky concoction for it or sth. pls dont order a mojito in long bar, it tastes like white flower oil.
im e smart one! Long Bar of cuz muz order e Singapore Sling! definitely their best drink!
e above is just a chain of camwhoring by the 5 of us, basically just permutation n combination nia lol.when's our nx meetup?? when mrong stops flying us kite! hahahaha.
