out came my 2nd wisdy

got disturbing image at the end hor.

i didnt want to take my right lower wisdom tooth out until i realised its pushing against my lower set of teeth really badly suddenly, causing them to turn crooked.

so my mum's supervisor recommended this doctor at this place at duxton....

with really posh interior....

but my mum's supervisor failed to tell us the most important part....

that my dentist is super duper pretty!! she's even prettier than this photo in real life, seriously. lols.

she looks really young, doesnt look like a dentist with 8 years of experience. but she seems really pro, knows what she's doing, very caring and very patient. i asked her alotta questions but she was still very patient with me. which is why i decided to get the scary procedure done by her.

2x xray, anesthesia, incision, drilling, extraction, sewing... all done in an hour. the only thing i want to complain about her skills is that the dentist cut the edge of my lips a little when she was sewing me up, can be improved hehz.

oh! another thing i want to complain is the price.... omg it costly a friggin $1,000 in total! almost equivalent to Mount E price lor, gosh~~~

i thought the amount of meds she gave me is abit much, isit normal?? 2 types of antibiotics, 2 types of painkillers, 1 type of anti-inflammation drug. >_<

1st day 12/12/11 Mon - i was actually working from home after the surgery. but as the anesthesia wears off the pain it became quite impossible to work, so i took this painkiller Tramadol which was too strong for my body, ended up feeling nauseous and dizzy. so i stopped working and pretty much lay on my throne feeling sick and sleepless for the rest of the day. finally slept at 12am after changing to the other drowsy painkiller Panaco and felt much much better when i briefly woke up at 2am. only drank abit of soya bean and a teeny bit of porridge via straw cuz cant really open my mouth.

2nd day 13/12/11 Tue - felt much better, no more nausea after I stopped taking Tramadol. decided to skip the Panaco for the afternoon dose but ended up with a headache, dont know if they are related. ate the minced meat in my porridge and bread in the afternoon and converted to rice for dinner.

right cheek where the wisdom tooth used to be is much more swollen than the day before, i feel like the chipmunk. lols.

3rd day 14/12/11 Wed - briefly woke up at 10am with gastric pains, dont know why. went back to sleep and woke up at 1230pm feeling better. swell subsided by half. but late afternoon felt nauseous and dizzy again sigh. but still went out to watch New Year's Eve =X

swell subsided tremendously, but people i watched NYE with were still shocked by the swell. isnt it normal to swell?? hehz.

4th day 15/12/11 Thu - woke up to no nausea and dizziness, so i suspect its the Panaco and stopped taking it. went JP to walk walk and buy fish soup and waffles to makan. felt pretty much okay and unbelievably bored by eod.

swell subsided even more.

5th day 16/12/11 - went back to work, and the rest is history! lols.

glad i went back to work! received voucher from ah hai as xmas gift! ahehehehe. my smile was still abit stiff though hurhur.

ate lotsa junks at the office xmas party, colleagues all said i dont look like there's anything wrong with my mouth. hahaha dont know if thats a compliment lor.

ready for the disturbing image??
