then Dannie recommended me this Instagram page @thenailartstory, and so i finally downloaded Instagram just for it. i spent hours simply browsing through the page! lols kept me entertained throughout the cny period~

seriously marvel at the skills required to draw this! omg must be an artist~

Disney series. i tried positioning my fingers in that way, and i cant! omg anatomically impossible for me so such linked nails are out~~

my 17yo cousin drew this for cny, look so yummy haha. she also spent 3hours doing it (i also spent 3hours doing my cny nails)

my belated Jerry Yan craze has reached new heights!

watched Down With Love! it was a Jan 2010 show, i didnt want to watch it back then because i hated Ella and havent fallen in love with Jerry yet.

now! awwww! loves!

ok but i still hate Ella, super duper overly act cute and she is not pretty!!! how can Jerry ever fall in love with her?? whenever i feel overwhelmingly disturbed that Jerry actually picked Ella in the show, i will remind myself Jerry's (ex?) girlfriend in real life is Lin Chi Ling, and i will feel much better. LOL.

seriously this Ella also very thick-skinned! in this special 独家大搜秘 interview, her leg was like over my Jerry's thigh??? simi daiji??? and it was very far up his thigh somemore! WTF~

*chants* its just a show, he kisses/ed Lin Chi Ling in real life!

honestly his acting wasnt fantastic, but just watching that face for 16 epis makes me very happy HAHA. oh and him trying to 搞笑 was very cute too~~~

his nose is awesome leh, super high and pointed! wahahaha.

and as if that nose and face is not yummy enough, 老天 even gave him killer dimples! *hearts*

he is very tanned hor? like me! HAHA and somehow seems not as beefy now as in Meteor Garden hmmm.

how do u plan your itinerary?

use Google Maps to plan better lah, can "star" the places then when u get there can do short-distance GPS locating. Soot told me de, GPS works even without 3G, but must load the map with internet first.

so usually i will load map of the area im going at the hotel using wifi, then once im near the place i will activate GPS to locate myself. very useful!

how to do ombre nails:

Step 1: Choose colours you want to om.

Step 2: Apply chosen colours in stripes on old Sec 3 literature homework (cant believe i still have them in my stack of paper to be reused!).

Step 3: Sponge over the colour stripes. Actually can also stripe on the sponge itself.

mZ asked me to show her a photo of how much i usually spilt over. this is how!! mega spill lols.

tadah! cleaned up the spillovers nicely though.

my sponge is too frigging porous and i didnt try to blend the colours so the ombre turned out batik and frigging ugly haiz.

i used gelish base and top, normal nail polish to om. gelish cant om, i think. took 4hours in total, too much waiting time required for such sandwich cuz need to wait for normal to dryyyyyyy completelyyyyyy. but gelish is soooooo expensiveeeeee o_O

this is how a good ombre should look like! shall use a less porous sponge and blend the colours next timeeeeeeee~~

i was trying to buy sunblock in the spray form cuz im a really lazy person, but most spray sunblocks are aerosol. we cheapos didnt buy any check-in luggage space so aerosols are out. then i found this!

spray but non-aerosol! was so proud of myself, wanted to boast to my Langkawi travelmates.... until i realised the bottle is 200ml (handcarry bottles into cabin maximum allowable 100ml only). BAHHHH.

i tried using it, no good. the sunblock doesnt dispense easily, maybe cuz the bottle is too heavy. wont recommend anyone to buy~

me and Big Ben! actually i love how pretty Big Ben looks compared to the other rather dull Westminster buildings, but i have never released this set of photos because they originally looked like this:

SUPER.FAT.FACE. my self portrait skills sucks, and it doesnt help that my face is already big and round. sad.

BUT!!

美图秀秀 to the rescue!! wahahaha these vainpot Taiwanese (i assume) really do come up with something superb!! i do have Photoshop, but its much much easier to slim face using MTXX!

my favorite is the 瘦脸瘦身 function in the app when u can zoom into the area u want to slim down and drag to where u want it to slim to! and there is even a 对比 button for u to keep comparing what has changed! it is SOOO wonderful OMFG.

to think that Genie was laughing his head off and thought Theresa and i were trying to fool him when we mentioned there is such a thing called 美图秀秀 lols.

compare: smaller face and sharper chin! omg love the results, my face has never been so small! lols. ok but Big Ben is originally already beyond-help over-exposed in the original photo and i didnt bother to rescue it.

this one is less successful in slimming my fat face, looks more unnatural also. but here i used the 磨皮美肤 function to create a warmer skin colour.
