Random Korean Eats

My #1 favorite - Bibimmyeon

Cold noodles in spicy sauce!

I love the spicy and full yet refreshing flavour of this dish. Thought abit too spicy for me but the spicyness is easily washed down by the complimentary free flow laver soup.

#2 Pat Bing Sul (Red Bean Ice)

Actually I prefer to have just the soy bean powder and no red bean haha a very healthy dessert cuz its light and not too sweet!

#3 Ediya honey toast

Chanced upon this while having mid afternoon coffee at Ediya, its abit like After You honey toast in Bangkok. After You is better but this is heavenly enough!

The rests - Korean BBQ

Random Korean BBQ restaurant. I find it quite strange to have duck in korean bbq but the duck turned out pretty good! Goes well with makkoli (rice wine) but I would prefer the more traditional marinated beef and pork belly.

Yoogane @ Myeongdong

Yes we have it in SG too, I just want to see if its any different in Korea. But actually, its the same hahaha except that its about 50% cheaper in Korea. It gets really oily towards the end though.

Mum loves this 锅巴汤 (scorched rice soup?) side dish in Yoogane, cuz of the fragrance of the scorch rice and how its lightness compliments the oily chicken main dish well.

Kuk Bap (soup rice)

Basically kimchi beef soup with rice immersed it in, I love kimchi soup and I love beef so this goes well with me, especially when I get both soup and rice in a single scoop! hahahaha #superlazyass

Jajangmyeon (black sauce noodle)

Korean-chinese dish, delivered to our doorstep right before our flight. I dont like it personally because its full of onions and I HATE onions. Mum Dad are okay with it though.

Some say korean food requires an acquired tastebud but I can eat korean food everyday!
