whitening face masks, whitening body milk, whitening face cream, body scrub n face scrub. cost me $40 in total sia, they better work. nv buy any big brands at all n yet it amounted to so much, wah liew.

im back. but im not elated tat im back.

actually i've nv missed home for e past 2.5mths, oni missed e food at home. i was so occupied during my days in e states tat i din have time to miss home. plus, those days had been much more fun n enjoyable.

a typical conversation wif my mum over e long-distance phonecalls...

me: no.
mum: ...................

i cant slp last nite. not cuz of jetlag, but more cuz there's too much things running thru my mind. was replaying my 70 days in e states repeatedly in my head, n suddenly i felt tat it was all so surreal.

everything seems like a dream, a sweet sugarlicious dream. fearing tat those 70 days were realli juz a dream, i actually climbed outta my bed n switched on my laptop to look at all e photos i've took while in e states. juz to make sure it's real. yeah.

recalling e last words my darling pato said to me b4 parting...
"pls don forget me, cuz i'll nv forget u."

n he said it like he tinks tat i'll definitely forget him. ahhh he's such a bloody tearjerker. but yet it's impossible not to love him for being so sweet. irritating.

but mayb he's right. 50 yrs later, when im realliii old n senile, i wld prob juz completely forget abt these 2.5mths. or worse, juz a few mths later, after i started working, i'll get so busy i'll totally forget abt everything. how sad.

so, touching down at changi airport was like a jolt back to reality. n i din like it, i wanna immerse in e dream longer. but i guess tats realli juz part n parcel of life huh.

i'll get over it.

a life tat wun stay

suddenly i felt like i wanna lead this current life forever. no worries, no stress. everyday at work was fun, and on off days we just go sightseeing. there's just so much to see and do here.

e ppl here are great. they shower me with sincere hugs and kisses, they say they miss me like they realli mean it. they always seem so nice and happy to me.

weather here now is better than singapore too, not too hot and not too cold. i like it that i seldom perspire here.

during our 1st mth here, polar bear was telling me he dont mind leading this kinda life forever, and i tot he was crazy. now im crazy too. hehz~

my bloody laptop kena virus recently, n tho i've cured it, it was never like b4 ever since.

anywayz, im left with oni a few days left at the pier, im sooooo gonna miss e ppl here man. haiz~

e taiwanese (e oni asians in my pier, besides us) juz arrived, n dey are such nice n interesting ppl.
n we'r now so close n having so much fun with ppl frm e other ctries too (u noe, sporeans warm up to others slower). work was so much fun now. it's like united nations here btw.

was tokin my new taiwanese partner on e skyride a few days ago...

me: 50 yrs down e road, when im realli old with some terminal illness. with oni some days left. i'll probably come back here to tis small town, reminiscing e wonderful 2mths i've spent here.

partner: xiaoming's teacher asked where they wld wanna be at if they oni had a day left to live. and xiaoming said he wanted to stay in e classroom, cuz it made a day felt like ages.

1) we gave up buying mushrooms at superfresh cuz it's 20c more ex than shop 'n stop.

2) we buy lousy bread tats too thin to even toast cuz it's cheap, 99c per loaf i think.

3) we often visit e 99c pizza shop for bloody cheap but not very tasty 99c pizzas and burgers.

4) we buy 2 gallons of milk which tastes like plain water cuz it's juz US$1+.

and finally...

5) we "took" tons of free salt/pepper/sugar frm e various restaurants n frm thai air cuz we din wanna spend $$ buying em.

oh, one word of caution: do not ever get on a ride operator's nerves.

ride operators can either make ur seat belt damn loose so tat u'll fly off, or slam e lap bar so damn hard tat u'r rendered barren. ohohohoho~

PS. great white is e mega roller coaster in e pier tat im working at. n i noe e bruises n scrapes cant be seen clearly frm e pic, but oh well, as long as i noe they are there. haha~

still alive!

im still alive! i went for a road trip n came back safe n sound! LoL~

all e niagara woes were unfounded lahz, it turned out pretty okay.

we din go to most of e places tat was in e itinerary (e one where i stayed up till 4am to plan) tho, made spontaneous chges to our plan after we reached niagara. haha~

was a fun trip. n memorable too, cuz i inexplicably puked thrice after drinking a bottle of smirnoff (5% alcohol) n half a cup of budweiser. don tink im such a bad drinker lehz.. -_-

tats all for now, been damn tired these few days man.

being an attendant on e above ride is ultra tiring. but it's damn cool too. hohoho~

niagara woes

juz when i tot we'r all set for niagara, stunts are being pulled on us:

1) e meeting we'r supposed to hold yesternite to discuss itinerary din take place cuz our travelmate/s came home late. hmmm.

2) suddenly realised yesternite tat my supervisor will be off today and hence we cant use his printer to print out all our maps. n there's no way else tat we can print out e maps. tis sparked off super alot of shit.

3) me n my roomies had to stay up till 4am to discuss alternatives, now tat we cant print out e relevant maps.

4) it din help tat e other half of our niagara travelmates were ald aslp, e half tats awake cant make decision cuz e other half is not around. but cant blame em oso lahz, they needa work early.

5) we have some "slpin" niagara travelmates who have, till now, appeared to have made little contribution to e planning of e whole trip. okay mayb they did, juz tat i din noe.

6) majority of us cant/hate reading maps. n i don tink e one who can n is supposed to doing e topo-ing is preparing for it. muz go whack him tonite. muahahaha~

7) n it din help tat tis news appeared on our local chinese paper yester.

my parents are pretty worried abt me gg on tis road trip, hope they din freak out even more after reading tat piece of news.

okay mayb im being too paranoid, everything will go smoooooothly yeah. it shd be fun lahz huh, gd company n gd scenary n gd experience. *cross fingers*

brainless me

my current job makes me feel dumb. even though im paid US$6.15/hr (even e macdonald's here pay US$6.50/hr btw) for doing simple routinal tasks, it's all v brainless.

all i do is to load passengers, press buttons and unload passengers. no brains required. i even repeat e same simple sentences millions of times everyday. alwayz almost lose my voice at e end of e day lorz.

"feet off e bar pls"

super brainless. i fear tat by e time i go back to sg i'll have my IQ reduced by half.

n it doesnt help tat one of my angmoh supervisor is an intern who's 2yrs younger than me. hehz~
