once upon a milkshake

went there earlier this yr. i noe e girl who served me at e counter, she's from hall 3. we used to say hi in hall, but nw she's like completely dont recognise me (mayb cuz of my extensive "plastic surgery" duhhhh).

then to cfm tat i noe her, i searched for her on fb, n told her i found her on fb. then she just "oh ic" me. so damn awkward. wth max.

anyways, u can choose from 8 flavours (i think) n decide whether u want it as a ice cream or as milkshake. we had choc truffle as milkshake, lychee n maple as ice cream.

they'r basically all veriiii sweet, must consume in moderation! but overall not too bad, i like e deco n prices are realli inexpensive.

oh n i like this 'taken' sign for e table! hurhur cute!

i tot e opening ceremony was pretty great! love e lighting up of e flame most!

definitely nt as grand as beijing olympics, but definitely nt shabby either.

n boy, we realli do have alotta S$$ to spend on YOG man. which goes to show tat singapore is a prosperous country!

im so envious of e many teenage YOG volunteers lorz, hw i wish im a teenager nw. totally dont mind volunteering. bah. tink i'll juz watch e games for e nx 11 days instead.

oh oh! i juz bot tix to e closing ceremony! surprised tat they are still available, actually. was so sad there are no more tix to e opening ceremony (when i heard it's e gov who bot most of it n gave it away).

when i read this story tday on e train home, my nose was suan suan de lor.

he apparently ran 15km for 2.5hrs in flip flops under e rain, in order to trail the YOG flame.

i was tmd touched by tis boy's passion for e YOG lor, wtf.

e boy was drenched leh! plus e rain damaged his camera (tho nw BOTH panasonic and canon are juz dying to be e 1st one to give him a replacement camera *rolls eyes*) !

im surprised by how pure kids still are tday, e boy said he juz wants to follow e flame n see it for himself cuz he mite nv see it again. it's like sth u'll only hear abt in e movies lor.

okay come to tink of it nw, e boy mite be a child actor planted by teo ser luck to incept into singapore youths e enthusiasm for e YOG. but screw tat, i choose to believe he's genuine!! ahahaha.

Couple in their nineties are both having problems remembering things

The doctor tells them that they might want to start writing things down to help them remember.

Later that night, while watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair. 'Want anything while I'm in the kitchen?' he asks.

'Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?'

'Sure..'

'Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?' she asks.

'No, I can remember it.'

'Well, I'd like some strawberries on top, too. Maybe you should write it down, so as not to forget it?'

He says, 'I can remember that. You want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries.'

'I'd also like whipped cream. I'm certain you'll forget that, write it down?' she asks.

Irritated, he says, 'I don't need to write it down, I can remember it! Ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream - I got it, for goodness sake!'

Then he toddles into the kitchen.

After about 20 minutes, The old man returns from the kitchen and hands his wife a plate of bacon and eggs..

She stares at the plate for a moment. 'Where's my toast?'

However, one student nurse found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need her help to leave the hospital.

After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let her wheel him to the elevator.

On the way down the nurse asked him if his wife was meeting him.

'I don't know,' he said. 'She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown.'
