touched up the cuticle part of my nails, the part that grew out. should have taken a photo of the before touching up though booo. but anyways, seems like gel polish touches up very well, almost cant tell where the freshly touched up bit starts!

mille crepe craze part 2

after the 1st post, i tried the one from Doutor Coffee and MBFC Tower 3, nice~  very light, literally melts in your mouth, not overly creamy for my tastebuds as opposed to klj's. the Paris Baguette one is abit harder, not that "melty", Doutor Coffee is cheaper too!

only 1 flavour, limited to just 40 slices a day, but usually still available for the few lunchtimes that i went on weekdays. $6.50/slice, if i remember right.

First Love at Ion Basement. yeah, what a name lols~ has alot more flavours than Paris Baguette and Doutor Coffee: Original, Oreo, Cappucino, Matcha, Strawberry.

$6.50 for 1, $12 for 2. i bought Original and Matcha. still prefer Doutor Coffee's cuz First Love aint that "melty" too~

Langkawi accom horror

this is supposed to be our highly-rated accommodation in Langkawi, but unfortunately we booked the wrong date!!

should be 23-25/3/13 and not 22!! seriously i checked after Ting forwarded to me, and i didnt spot the mistake =__=

and so they sold our room away, and luckily didnt charge us no-show. they dont have anymore empty rooms on 23/3 when we really arrived, rooms only available on 24/3.

horrified, we were initially at a loss. but heng paranoid Qian always go through what-if scenarios in her bimbo head and noted to self that in such situation, just walk down the road to find other hotels with vacancies lols.

found vacancy in Kedawang Beach Inn right next to Sunset.

but the room is pathetically small and dilapidated, and owner of the inn is creepily over-friendly, and worst is 3 of us had to squeeze in that tiny queen-sized bed. really felt like crying on our one night there wahahaha. but to be fair, it is much cheaper than Sunset at only RM150/night.

horrified by Kedawang, we quickly ran back to Sunset to book their room for 24/3 so that we only need to sleep in Kedawang for 1 night LOL.

their room numbers all end with 8 - 08, 18, 28... we are Room 108! i guess the boss is definitely chinese lols.

has a super nice adjoining beach!

not too crowded and yet not to ulu~ can even do water sports, saw alot of people parasailing~

i guess the reason why its called Sunset is because the sun shines right into the resort during sunset, how splendidly pretty~~~

ahhh so much happier here! LOL

the staff at the resort were so nice too! provided us with extra towels, helped us booked taxis and snorkelling....

and even offered to bring breakfast to our room the night before so that we can eat before we catch our super early morning flight! *touched*

oh and its location is wonderful, right along the bustling main street of Pantai Tengah, lotsa restaurants and shops to walk around.

would highly recommended this place!! see my review of them on TripAdvisor! hehe~

most expensive meal in awhile

restaurant week! we decided on Stellar @ 1-Altitude! 3-course set dinner at $55++/pax

we requested for window seat, great view!

the manager who was initially quite unfriendly to us told us they only have one type of Moscato, and proceeded to bring that one to us, then we told him we saw a different one in the menu (and 50% more exp than the 1st bottle he brought us), and Zen claimed that the manager changed to become more friendly to us upon hearing that we wanted the more expensive bottle of wine BOO. but other than this stupid manager, service is pretty good~

started off with a salmon amuse bouche - im not a fan of cooked salmon, but this is not as overwhelming as i expected, goes really well with bread.

choice of starter, i chose venison soup which is really savoury yet light and the venison is really tender!

lj's choice of assorted sushi - not bad, but it is really just sushi to me ahaha.

choice of main course - beef short ribs

or scallop risotto. seriously the short ribs are much better, i super regret my choice of tasteless italian porridge bahhhh.

nobody chose the banana pudding dessert choice, all opted pistachio and strawberry mousse which really looked like malay kuehs LOL. servings are abit too big for one pax, too gerlaat to finish.

$108/pax in the end, included of the wine. *ouch* not a meal i bo dai bo ji will go for haha.

then we gained free entry to the 1-Altitude bar upstairs! enjoyed more scenary. seriously its is not as crowded as i thought it should be, wonder when it will close down hahaha.

then cheapo us just sat on e Park @ Raffles bench and chit chatted for another 2hours before heading home LOL.

the white shirt uncle was actually pushing the orange shirt auntie on the swing, awwww what a loving end to our night lols~~~

lost and found!

was really upset when i thought i lost this many months back, cuz i really love it. been trying to find a replacement for it but nothing comes close.

and when i took out this bag i havent used in awhile, found it in one of the pockets! woohoo yay!! *hearts*

its not thaT expensive btw, SGD100 i remember. promo at Coach NYC Time Warner Centre hehe~

love the super glittery silver but the orange is abit dull, then again Gelish doesnt have that shade of fluorescent orange yet.
