so we signed a new broadband plan with Singtel about 1.5mths ago and gotten a laptop for free, for my dad to use. it's really slim and specs better than my own laptop.
but i never once saw my dad use it. WTF. okay never mind, i keep quiet.
then 1.5mths later the extra 2yr warranty i bought for my dad came and i wanted to register for him using that laptop. so finally i asked him if he ever used the laptop.
"got, didi brings it to school to do project. didi, bring out the laptop for jiejie to register warranty."
so fummie chan took awhile to bring out the laptop. i wondered why.
then after i opened up the laptop and switched it on, i knew why fummie took so long to take it out....
TADAH! it's not a small crack, it's a TMD thorough crack, point of impact from middle of the screen and spread through to the edge of the screen. WTFFFFFFF.
fuming, my dad asked fummie what happened.
apparently he refused to share his candy with a classmate and the classmate hit fummie's bag in anger, knowing that the laptop is in the bag.
fummie chan said he reported the incident to his teacher, and his teacher told him to write a report narrating the whole incident.
it's been weeks and he didnt submit the report nor tell my parents about the incident, for fear of being scolded.
SE-RIOUS-LY OMFGGGGGGGG. told my dad not to let fummie use a good laptop cuz fummie dont know how to take care of it de, dont believe. see lah.
just last week i tookover the broadband bill payment, which means im paying for the frigging laptop now. warranty doesnt cover the cracked screen for sure, and i heard the screen will cost so much to repair that people usually just buy a new laptop. WTF.
once again, the grandeur of the crack....
this is a laptop that is barely 6 weeks old and used less than thrice for goodness sake. OMFG.

anyways, he is the guy that crazy girl went gaga over in korea. he was the South Korean soldier escorting us throughout our day tour of the DeMilitarised Zone. basically to ensure that we dont get killed by any North Koreans.
once i saw fellow tourists successfully requested photos with him, i was like screaming "LIJUN!! CAN TAKE PHOTO W HIM!!" ahahaha sibeh crazy.
parting shot. he had a robot face throughout the tour and ting saw him finally gave a small smile and waved goodbye at the end. hehe.

it was the coldest day i had while i was in korea! took a Nami Island day tour there, SGD120/pax, pretty overpriced.
