mille crepe craze!
"mille" means thousand in italian or something, crepe is just the usual crepe. mille crepe cakes means stacking layers and layers of crepes and cream together to form a cake!
tried this in Melaka!
saw lotsa people buying it so we decided to try too! ok actually im the one who kept bugging the rest to try hahahaha.
its good! very light taste, not too sweet and the cream is very fresh! alot of different flavours, though i prefer the original vanilla one. RM9.50/slice
goes well with my cuppa Gula Melaka Cappuccino~~
alot of people dining in and taking out whole cakes. Nadeje Cake Shop @ Plaza Mahkota, Melaka
i came back to Singapore and began hunting for it, read an article on HerWorld.
decided on the Paris Baguette one, went to dabao it back one day after work.
costs me frigging SGD8 for that tiny slice! and there is only one flavour.
not bad, not too sweet and is light too. but nothing very wow too.
bought the sweet potato cake too, i think its more wow than the mille crepe cake haha. shall visit the Paris Baguette in Seoul!
klj very fondly tried the Doutor Coffee version at MBFC on my behalf awwww~~ loves~~~
but she said its too creamy for her lols. i shall go try for myself next time. and the one at Ion too!

F4
i actually ran out of dramas to watch!
then i read Hong's spring cleaning post where she found her F4 collection....
so i decided to rewatch Meteor Garden! wahahaha
seriously im surprised my Meteor Garden VCDs are still alive and kicking even though the box is in critical condition.
those were the days when DVDs were still expensive and Funshion was not known to teenage Qian, so she had to cheong to TS (which i believe already closed down) everyday to see if stocks arrived cuz Meteor Garden was all in the rage back then and it was really hard to get her bitchy claws on a box.
and the prints on the VCD looked damn cheong-ed, simi Mist Over Dream Lake??!?!?
not to mention the price~~~~ $30 was alot to a JC student back in 2001 okayyyyy, i had to borrow YuL's member card for 10% discount wahahaha.
so! the initial episodes made me went "omfg seriously?? i went all crazy for this shit 12 years ago???" because the acting was crappy and dialogues were frigging cheesy and they were no-kidding wearing this kinda clothes:
honestly even for the standard 12years ago i think those were still unbelievably fugly clothes. ok then again i think i did own a pair of cargo berms back then HAHA.
anyways! after couple episodes, once again i felt like the gooey teenager who queued for hours for their stupid autographs and paid hundreds for their shitty concert! LOL.
plot is not that bad, really! new characters every other episodes, and that intense love Dao Ming Si have for Shan Cai.... though i personally wont be able to take it, but drama-wise its really AWWWWWWWWW~~~~~
12 years ago i remember my fav was Zai Zai, followed by Jerry Yan, then Vanness Wu then Ken Chu.
could be age and change in tastebuds, that preference changed now.
my favorite now is Jerry Yan! dont know why his looks didnt appeal to me back then, but now i think he is super shuai!
and how come back then i didnt realise he is so beefy??!!?! MAJOR LOVES! hahahaha
2nd favorite now is Vanness Wu! less the whiffy rebonded hair. love his hit-drama Next Stop, Happiness.
then Zai Zai, less cute than i remember and too scrawny for my current 重口味 LOL.
still no liking for Chu. oh but he actually studied in the same sec school as Fummie! ok i just checked, yep, Fummie has zero idea who Ken Chu is. doh.
i googled for F4's current happenings, they just made a special comeback during this year's CNY on Jiangsu TV!
promotional posters for the comeback. Jiangsu TV reportedly paid them millions to make the appearance.
and then i watched the comeback performance on youtube.
they seriously still looked THE SAME!! OMG.
cant believe they are still singing to Meteor Rain! 陪你去看流星雨,落在这地球上~~~~~~
Jerry still so shuai!! killer dimples!! eh but why he never change his hairstyle for 12 years ah??? 道歉有用的话,那要警察来干嘛??
*screams* 你们是我永远的F4!!!! 不管你们到天涯海角, 我都一定会去追!!

woohoo im quite proud of this creation! copied it off somebody else's instagram page haha. my hand-drawn arrows turned out easier and straighter than i expected!
and as usual, left and right hand are different ahahaha. left cant draw as straight on right and also by the time i do my right hand its been 6hrs already. spent 3hrs tryin to do ombre nails but failed so decided to switch to arrowhead, which took another 3hrs =__= partly also cuz i need to wait for the normal purple polish to dry before applying the black gelish.
im seriously too free omg.

the return of the tart-only eater
i find the pineapple in pineapple tarts too sweet but yet i love the fragrant buttery taste of the tarts, so this is what always happens in the end....
wahahahahhaa. Mrs Chan finds this bad habit of mine very gross and annoying though. LOL.

大蛇年初一!
believe it or not, i specially dropped by Jurong Point on my way home with Mrs Chan, just to see how much of a ghost town it is!
JP at 3pm on a Sunday. lols. very ghost town. think the greatest shock was that Banquet is not opened. Banquet owned by Chinese boss?
Candy Crush inspired nails which took me 3.5hrs to complete omg. hahaha impressed by my usually limited creativity but lack the skills to execute it well boo.
Rats are supposed to have very good $$$ luck in the snake year, so when u have 4 Rats in the same room on 初一, this is what u definitely have to do....
LOL. dont say dont have, sharing the luck with u guys okayyyy. haha.
