i totally buey tahan-ed the too-dark OC10 #22 foundation and decided to throw it out prematurely. then when i was replacing it with a new OC10 #22 that i bought from Johor (hoping that it would be different), i noticed this!

the old one that is too-dark, is actually OC11 #23! meaning some asshole swapped the box, put a #23 in a #22 box (and probably returned it to Watsons)! GRRRR

woohoo i think my perfect ZA colour is coming back!! YAY!

is buying clothes online still worth it??

im tempted to buy clothes from qoo10.sg again! but stopped myself because everytime i buy clothes online, nothing good usually comes out. proof below.

taking stock of my favorite clothes, these are those i tried on and bought in the physical store:

20 - A DAMN LOT. lols i have alot of clothes, if u havent realise. they may look crumply and fugly but i think i look okay wearing them. either that or they are just really comfortable to wear in haha.

these are those that i went to physical store but cant try on, like those bought in Dongdaemun in Korea and Platinum Mall in Bangkok, or during sale no trying allowed:

11 - at least i can see the quality of the fabric for myself. the Harvard tee is bought in Harvard Bookstore, no fitting room.

and finally, these are the clothes i like and are bought online:

5 - very very few. 3 from asos.com, only the 2x jeans from qoo10.sg. lost track of how many times i chucked online clothes away immediately upon receiving.

ironically these are jeans and party dresses, items that most people would rather go physical store to buy.

CONCLUSION: STOP buying clothes online!

reminiscing the durian season

as we mourn the end of the 2013 durian season, i recounted the memorable moments....

the virgin batch of 2013 - my mum fell sick the day after, and im the one who gobbled the boxes of neatly-lined yellow babies. hahahhaa.

the 2nd batch - i fell sick the day after, Mrs Chan finished up the the boxes.

3rd 4th batch - both Miss and Mrs Chan stayed healthy.

fyi, we order 10kg once a week, put in fridge can last us 4 days hahaha. and we only order Golden Phoenix.

5th batch - i developed a cough after. and stopped durian for good.

conclusion: durians are bad for health, eat in moderation! LOL.

perfect colour no more

i have been an avid user of the ZA Perfect Fit Two-Way Foundation since the beginning of time, the shade 22 fits my skin colour perfectly and the texture blends well with my skin too.

but the latest revamp of their foundation colour has left me feeling very lost and dismayed. shade 22 is supposedly now known as OC10, but its too frigging dark for me! then when i tried to go one shade light to OC00, and its too light for me!

so i bought the new shade P010 as well. hope it works now though from the photo it looks even lighter than OC00. sigh.

how can OC10 and OC00 be so different?? they are supposed to be just one shade apart! wtf.

good thing i have 3 cases from before haha.

ZA should have made sure the foundation shades are exactly the same when revamping, no?

my emo friend is trying to get over a guy and told me what she found on the net, its really quite amusing imo:

• If you start to pretend that you don't care and that it doesn't bother you, eventually you really won't care and it really won't bother you. Live your life, invest in yourself.
