kua zhang. my liking for dots stretched all e way frm US to tw (online shopping) to bangkok lorz. hehe~

n i keep buying dots!~

tat top was my latest addition to my dots collection frm last last wkend's shopping at vivocity. it actually looks much better than in e photo, trust me.

btw i was holding on to e FOC xmas special peppermint mocha frm e veri charitable starbucks!~ muahahaha~

i cannot help but always succumb to their irresistible charm everytime. polka dots better be "in" for awhile longer sia. hehe~

PwC xmas bash!~

it took place last fri at DXO, cuz NTUC Club is our audit client.

cuz everybody's juz standing outside e dance floor n waiting for others to hit e dance floor 1st, so e partners (circled) decided to take e lead by boogie-ing 1st. hats off to em sia, so brave. haha~

i tot e band performance there was not bad, but my colleagues din like. guess it wld be more appealing if e bash was held at MoS (who's also our audit client). nx time, nx time.

n there's always free flow booze at PwC events... (im like such an excellent PwC ambassador, haha)

was asked to sit-in for big bosses' secretary who was on MC. did nth but answered phone calls, there were oni abt 10 phone calls tat day.

supposed 2b doing OA under tis secretary who din give ANY work e whole day (at least until now). so i ended up "rotting furiously" with ting (who was released frm job prematurely) e whole day. LoL~

my counselling grp outing was at-sunrice!~

every PwC auditor will be assigned to a counselling grp, n every counselling grp will have outings throughout e yr to build bonds.

quite a gd bunch of ppl, i supposed. except for a few bossy n bitchy mgrs.

at-sunrice accepts bookings frm e public, usually in big grps. chefs will teach participants how to cook, then e participants will try n cook on their own.

tis cooking session costs $90/pax, all courtesy of PwC. see wat i mean when i say i love my co's extravagant culture?? muahahaha~

they'll all my PwC seniors, nice ppl. im glad to say tat i havent met any nasty seniors in PwC. hoho~

charming chef frm thailand who speaks surprisingly gd english. we'r cooking thai, in case u havent figured out.

after e chef demonstrated, e amateur chefs started cracking..

as usual, im e cutter. always cutting, in US n in sg. oh well, tink tats wat i do best anyways. n at least im not cutting chicken! LoLoL~

realli quite fun lehz, esp since it's thai food. usually we oni cook chinese/pasta mahz.

e pineapple rice was yummy btw. it's ez to whip up lahz, juz needa dump all e pre-prepared ingredients tog.

tis red curry was a chore. there's no ready-made curry paste, we had to pound n pound all those ingredients tog to get it. heng it was delicious, efforts not wasted. hee~

e thai-style fish was an ez dish, juz poke lemon grass n ginger into e fish, send to steamer, n tadah!

too appetising, forgot to take photo b4 tucking in. nice lehz, tho too many bones. tink e trick lies in e sauce, had to pound n pound oso, bagus!~

e chef gave us a copy of e recipe each, so if anyone wants can ask frm me. ehh but i forgot where i dumped it, muz go search. hehe~

tis lemon grass tea by at-sunrice sucked big time, all of us hated it. dont like tat v strong n exotic (aka weird) lemon grass smell. eeeks~

i left for my bangkok trip e day after tis (so u noe tis is a long overdue post too, haha). 5 consecutive days of thai food, oh man. but tis counselling grp outing was fun nonetheless!~

as an act of gratitude towards my favourite elders, i treated em to long beach seafood lunch using my 1st paycheck (so u noe tis is a long overdued post, hee) !

my big uncle who always fetch me around, plus big auntie who always help me find gd tuition teacher.

n of cuz my parents who had to tolerate their crazy daughter.

look at those pathetic gross things, they'r gg to turn into delicious dishes! hohoho~

i ordered their 9-course package n it comes with a free peking duck!

it was damn yummy! heart!! 2nd yummiest dish. ohhhhh realli nice!

then there's sea bass soup n sweet sour pork. e soup is supposed 2b famous but i tot it's so-so oni lehz. pork oso, ok oni.

some dishes tat i din try at all cuz wanna save my stomach for e blockbuster dishes..

fried hor fun, sambal kang kong, claypot tofu n stir-fried sea bass.

n here are e nicer stuffs..

breaded prawns n black pepper crab. crab was too spicy for me tho, almost spewed fire sia. haha~

n e highlight of e meal..

long beach famous chilli crab! it's damn delicious! plus e fried buns... ohhhh~~~

e crabs aint v ex oso, but e whole package still burnt an enormous $330 hole in my alr empty pocket. shd be quite worth it, however, cuz food is gd n everyone's happy.

damn broke now. looking forward to e pay increment!!

NTU recruitment

i helped out at e recruitment for e past 3 days n it was so fun!

look at e interviewees, all nervous n jittery n green. reminded me of myself a yr ago. oh man, i feel old~

my job is to talk to them, make them feel comfortable, ans watever queries they have regarding PwC n to show em why shd pursue a career in PwC instead of e others.

tats e no. of young associates tat helped out at the recruitment drive. yeah alot, n all are lovely n fun ppl.

e In-Charge was so vain, he kept requesting to retake e photos cuz he din look gd..

doesnt matter, i look gd can liaoz. muahahaha~

simple tasks and i get to work with all the young associates in PwC, fun! no wonder i've been on e high for e whole 3 days. haha~

riverside indonesian restaurant

after e recruitment ended, i went clarke quay with e gang of auditors. e restaurant serves gd food at affordable prices! 5 of us oni paid $12 ea for a 6-course dinner!

kangkong, tahu telur, satay, grilled chicken, sambal sotong. yums!~

order anything but e sambal stingray, it sucks. eww~

it was during dinner tat ting announced tat she had given up membership of e golden flowers club..

see how guilty she felt towards abandoning me n zen?? nvm, we'll continue to love u always. LoL~

indochine - bar cocoon

a great place to chill after dinner, pretty place with excellent ambience. but e tatami seats were quite a bugger, shall request e sofa seats nx time.

their signature drinks: frosted jade was nice, terracotta was not bad but i dont like vodka, butterfly effect tastes like incense. prices are ok, $15 ea~

clarke quay is such a surprisingly happening place at nite, can go more often. wld advise ppl who wanna go there to make reservations 1st tho, cuz those restaurants are always packed.
