we finally visited the newly opened The Hangout! lady boss kaijun aka member of my sisterhood kindly gave us her biggest room....

which is veri big n comfy n pretty! it's all pink n white striped, with kitties on e wall! haha i donno wat guys will feel abt tis room tho.

there are 2 sets of tv n console in "the pink room", so 2 grps can play at e same time!

e gamers all ready to wiiii~~~

there are alot of e hottest n most popular wii games there, like Raving Rabbids, Guitar Hero, MarioKart, etc. juz ask n u will be granted! hehe~

every private room has a theme in The Hangout, this room is Mario!

i tink their deco is very creative n vibrant. besides the individual private rooms for gaming, they have a number of gaming stations outside as well.

sofa is veri comfy! n everything's brand new there!

this is e board games area. e friendly Hangout staff are always happy to help u explain e games, so dont worry abt being clueless. e board games there are mostly easy to pick up. =)

me n my mocha freeze, which pretty gd n totally not diluted as compared to most drinks tat ktvs provide.

their inexpensive gaming packages mostly comes with free flow drinks, juz top up $1+ to upgrade to freezes!

dor n her honeydew freeze which is yummy as well. Gabriel (co-boss) came in n offered to replace one of our hazelnut freeze cuz he realised tat it's too sweet, thats great service!

we tried DDR next! it's chinese songs de lehz, i din noe they come in chinese songs, interesting~

rider's cafe

one bright shady sunday morn, e 4 of us went to rider's cafe for brunch. after some iphone googling for directions to e ulu place, we finally found it.

tho e smell assaulted us a lil once we entered e restaurant (since it's right beside e horse stables n horses kinda stink), e ambience n food did win us over afterall.

my morning pancakes, which is one of e best pancakes i've ever eaten. it's not too fluffy nor too dry, goes along perfect with cranberry n maple syrup n cream! highly recommended!

lu's eggs benedict. we all tink tat choupinette's eggs benedict is better, e hollandaise sauce at choupinette is invincibly yummy while e one at rider's is a tad too sour for our liking.

ray's big bfast meal. i wld prefer if e potatoes were a lil softer, n tat they serve stewed mushrooms with e big bfast instead.

we shared a breaded calamari tog, it was fantastic! soft n fresh calamari, crispy on e outside, goes really well with e tartar sauce!

e bfast mains doesnt come tog with drinks as a set, unlike in choupinette. so i ordered a mocha to go with my bfast.

e view frm our table is quite awesome as well, peaceful n tranquil. we saw a few horses trot by us while eating. wld advise u to reserve a table by e side so tat u get a better view. we felt those tables inside felt abit claustrophobic n stuffy.

i was on e same job as tis notorious young manager in Jan, who is (in)famed to be a super buaya (ie. girl chaser) despite being married, plus he throws more shit down to e younger ones than they can handle.

let's call him De Bong.

De Bong was surprisingly soft-spoken, n he din throw as much shit down to me as i expected. but he did talk alot of crap with us, mostly on girl chasing tactics "that will definitely work".

in e Chapter of How To Make A Guy Fall For You:
De Bong advised tat girls must have long silky hair, n shampoo hair with e thickest n strongest-scented shampoo she can find. then go near enough so tat e guy can be besotted with e scent of her hair. it'll be best if she flips her hair in an attractive manner.

in e Chapter of How To Test If The Girl Likes You:
De Bong would ask e girl if she's tired, n then give her a neck massage w/o giving her a chance to say no. if she doesnt flinch at e "kind" gesture, she likes u.

in e Chapter of What To Do To Impress Her On First Dates:
De Bong thinks it's best to bring her to a quiet beach at night, n play e guitar for her, sing her a song u composed specially for her.
alternatively, if u live in a condo like De Bong, with a swimming pool tat plays soft music at night, bring her there and do a slow romantic dance with her.

How to Intensify The Passion:
Take her out on a spin (okay but 1stly u must own a car). Sit the girl on your lap at e driver's seat and make her control the steering wheel while u control e gear and pedals. oh but De Bong gently reminded guys not to try this at a road with heavy traffic.

at Notre Dame Cathedral, we wanted to get someone to help us take a group photo....

then i saw tis japanese guy standing right in front of us, so i approached him. even b4 i said anything, he gave me tis knowing smile n stretched his hand out in anticipation to take over my camera. awwww so cute! n he looks cute too! lol~

as u can see, tat photo is too dark, so we wanted to take another one.

we were frantically asking e angmoh to rotate e camera to take portrait instead of landscape, but angmoh tot me n dor were posing for e photo n he clicked.

exasperated, i walked over to him to explain. but he tot his job is done, gave me a thumbs-up, n tried to return e camera to me....... -__-
