how we lost the tour group in Milan
its quite classic. lols. before arriving at Milan, Laurence The Tour Leader told us "today is Sunday, usually we dont expect any crowd in Milan city centre on Sundays."
klj and i looked at each other, "really meh, it's MILAN leh. thats like Orchard Road empty on Sundays"
nevermind, once we reached Milan, first thought was "WHERE GOT NO CROWD?? IT'S FULL OF CROWD!!!"
wahahahaha then Laurence was like "okay you will have time to shop later, mai gan cheong. follow me i bring u to the Duomo Cathedral first".
so me and klj just walked behind our tour group of asians (which is quite easy to identify amongst the mostly-angmoh Milan crowd), yakking away about which shop we should go to later. then halfway through when we raised our head and looked infront, a group of angmohs! no asians!
"shit shit shit, where did they go?? we must find them otherwise they'll think that we wandered off cuz we sibeh gian cheong shopping!"
LOL we really searched high and low for them leh, but cannot find. haiz. too bad.
so we just walked around the Duomo Cathedral on our own....
and this is the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele that everyone in our tour group thought we disappeared to....
see behind, super crowded right?? where got no crowd?? gosh~~
the inside of the shopping galleria, archaic and very different from the boring shopping malls in singapore.
it seems big nia though, actually not many shops inside. and everything in the shops are out-of-stock hehz.
so we finished our shopping (bought nothing) really quickly and sat down at The Gucci Cafe for teabreak.
Gucci leathered menu.
SGD12 fruit tart, which seriously tasted like any ordinary fruit tart.
my SGD12 latte, which is no different from the other ordinary lattes.
klj's SGD14 teh-bing. wahahahhaa.
our final bill. it is really just for the brand =__=
we were people watching while sipping expensive latte, as the cafe was by the walkway nia. lotsa fashionable and beautiful people there.
also, alot of our tour mates spotted us at the cafe and asked where we disappeared to. LOL.
so, that was how 2 bimbos lost the whole tour group in milan. hahahaha.

out came my 2nd wisdy
got disturbing image at the end hor.
i didnt want to take my right lower wisdom tooth out until i realised its pushing against my lower set of teeth really badly suddenly, causing them to turn crooked.
so my mum's supervisor recommended this doctor at this place at duxton....
with really posh interior....
but my mum's supervisor failed to tell us the most important part....
that my dentist is super duper pretty!! she's even prettier than this photo in real life, seriously. lols.
she looks really young, doesnt look like a dentist with 8 years of experience. but she seems really pro, knows what she's doing, very caring and very patient. i asked her alotta questions but she was still very patient with me. which is why i decided to get the scary procedure done by her.
2x xray, anesthesia, incision, drilling, extraction, sewing... all done in an hour. the only thing i want to complain about her skills is that the dentist cut the edge of my lips a little when she was sewing me up, can be improved hehz.
oh! another thing i want to complain is the price.... omg it costly a friggin $1,000 in total! almost equivalent to Mount E price lor, gosh~~~
i thought the amount of meds she gave me is abit much, isit normal?? 2 types of antibiotics, 2 types of painkillers, 1 type of anti-inflammation drug. >_<
1st day 12/12/11 Mon - i was actually working from home after the surgery. but as the anesthesia wears off the pain it became quite impossible to work, so i took this painkiller Tramadol which was too strong for my body, ended up feeling nauseous and dizzy. so i stopped working and pretty much lay on my throne feeling sick and sleepless for the rest of the day. finally slept at 12am after changing to the other drowsy painkiller Panaco and felt much much better when i briefly woke up at 2am. only drank abit of soya bean and a teeny bit of porridge via straw cuz cant really open my mouth.
2nd day 13/12/11 Tue - felt much better, no more nausea after I stopped taking Tramadol. decided to skip the Panaco for the afternoon dose but ended up with a headache, dont know if they are related. ate the minced meat in my porridge and bread in the afternoon and converted to rice for dinner.
right cheek where the wisdom tooth used to be is much more swollen than the day before, i feel like the chipmunk. lols.
3rd day 14/12/11 Wed - briefly woke up at 10am with gastric pains, dont know why. went back to sleep and woke up at 1230pm feeling better. swell subsided by half. but late afternoon felt nauseous and dizzy again sigh. but still went out to watch New Year's Eve =X
swell subsided tremendously, but people i watched NYE with were still shocked by the swell. isnt it normal to swell?? hehz.
4th day 15/12/11 Thu - woke up to no nausea and dizziness, so i suspect its the Panaco and stopped taking it. went JP to walk walk and buy fish soup and waffles to makan. felt pretty much okay and unbelievably bored by eod.
swell subsided even more.
5th day 16/12/11 - went back to work, and the rest is history! lols.
glad i went back to work! received voucher from ah hai as xmas gift! ahehehehe. my smile was still abit stiff though hurhur.
ate lotsa junks at the office xmas party, colleagues all said i dont look like there's anything wrong with my mouth. hahaha dont know if thats a compliment lor.
ready for the disturbing image??
thats how the surgeried spot looked like now! hurhur.

whoever brought A&F to Singapore, we thank u!
last sat when i passed by at 12pm they werent there, i was super disappointed. but they were there when i went again at 130pm!
look at the crowd! muahahaha klj can totally sense my eagerness to cross the road to get to em.
they were seriously lined up outside the shop looking oh-so-hot! lols.
so we went from one end to another taking pictures with i believe everyone of them! i did a roll count....
fav here is #1 and #2. #6 looks like someone in office whom klj said "should be quite muscular down there". AHAHAHHAHAA.
hmm #9's first 2 pecs look weird, #8 mentioned later on.
me: do u think they are gek-ing their muscles throughout?
klj: no lah, they should be so toned they dont have to right... not possible to gek for couple hours also?
me: huh isit... can look so defined at relaxed mode meh??
from my native fatimah point of view, #10 is hot. but i loveeee #11's dimples awwwwwww~~
but seriously the asians just pale in comparison to the angmohs there. lols.
oh i like #14! he looks ABC though. #15 looks like older tin tin ahahahaha quite cute lah. #13 just looks awkward.
#16 not bad, #18 kinda resembles tom cruise. #17 kinda looks like my friend yul's husband, but i guess much better bod WAHAHAHHA =X
ehs i tink #22 is the most singaporean looking boy there and he's quite cute lah, taller than the blackie!
actually i thought the hotties will be sweaty and stinky from the heat, but they are surprisingly dry and smells good! ehs but i think the smell is the aber perfume.
klj likes #23, i like the shape of #23's muscles. ohohohoho~
#25 looks like Barbie's Ken. hehe.
do u think #24 and #29 are both the same guy?? i cant decide... but i tink the asians in this photo all quite cmi OOPS lols.
i think its quite pathetic that Abercrombie & Fitch cant find 30 hot guys in sg and had to resort to flying some of the hotties over from other countries. com'on, singapore, it's just a mere 30 hot guys also dont have?? please buck up! LOLS.
this is my fav photo! i like #30's megawatt smile and perfect teeth! #31 has a blond boy look (though he's not blond) i likey! the other guy is actually #8 from before, looks like ashton kutcher and i likey his dimples. wahahahhaa.
the photo would be perfect if klj wasnt in it. LOL!
actually no matter how i count, i get 31 leh, when i thought there's 30 aber boys nia. but i saw elsewhere they said 31. let me know if you spotted any repeats! hurhur.
im not the only meat-obsessed k, hong also went! wahahahaha. birds of the same kind flock together. i mean, how many times as an ordinary singaporean do u get to see 30 cute hotties congregate together for u to take photos with??
me: u know im assigning numbers to the aber guys.. then i realised i got 33 guys! so im going back one by one to see who i double counted....
chesaba: now si simi situation? year end stock take ah??
me: LOL. i feel so fan nao now, which one is the repeated meat??? wahahaha but this is blissful fan nao LOL.
that's my home screen now, to end off this super obsessive post, buey tahan wahahaha.
A&F is officially opened today but chesaba passed by and said there's no more topless guys leh. sads. good things never last! wahahahahha.

my backviews in europe
i know i told klj to take some candid shots of my backview sometime in the middle of our europe trip, but i dont know these are taken by her upon requests or just coincidence. hahaha.
cuz it started as early as our 1st day in europe, 1st tourist stop at The Colosseum....
can u spot me? wahahhaha i was at the bottom of the stairs waiting for klj.
2nd day too, in Florence while walking to the Basilica of Saint Mary, one of the top 3 largest cathedrals in the world per Laurence The Tour Leader. largest is St Peter's Basilica at Vatican City, 2nd is St Paul's the one that Prince Williams and Kate Middleton got married in, 3rd is Saint Mary, i think.
okay this one in Venice is klj asked me to walk slower so that she can take a better shot de. wahahahah.
this one still in Venice, i was trying to peep into the military command building and i cant rem wat klj said about why she wanna take a photo of the scene.
in case u are wondering, the inside of the military command just looks like a normal office, as far as i can see. hahaha.
this is at the farmers' market in Luzern, haha super funny shot. totally didnt know what she was doing.
i also took some candid pictures of klj!
infront of the United Nations HQ in Geneva! would have been a nicer shot without the mafia-looking gus behind her. lols.
gypsy klj! wahahaha it was starting to rain then. we were quite lucky in europe, think it was rainy season but we never kena alot of rain.
hurhur. what a bo liao post~

doing it alfresco in europe
i mean la kopi, doing the la kopi activity alfresco in europe. hahahaha.
tons of alfresco cafe in europe wor, esp italy and france! as seen on tv! seems really leisurely and wonderful~~~~~
in italy....
me: kljj u see all the cafes alfresco cafes! very nice hor?? lets go la kopi at one of those cafes during our free time!
turns out, not much free time in italy to la kopi at all. the only one time we had the chance was when we had an hour at Peruzzi, this place that sells expensive genuine leather goods in Florence.
the sales associate even made klj model one of their leather jackets infront of the whole tour group wahahaha.
after that we did nua at a cafe eating EUR2.50 gelato and EUR4 pizza.... INDOORS.
wahahahaha cuz it was too cold to do any alfresco, we witnessed super heavy rain earlier that day (the white white things by the side of the road are actually hailstones!). the flood at our orchard road is nothing compared to the italian flood man, singaporeans are such babies! haha.
in france....
me: kljj there's alotta alfresco cafes here too! let's go la kopi during our free days!!
turns out, free time all went to help people buy these decadent things...
wahahahaha.
it's okay, that gave me an excuse to go europe again! hurhur.

went through so much to get to Mona Lisa
and the photos are ALL blur! bahhhhhhhhh.
to think i squeezed through the crowd and risked getting pickpocketed! (the Mona Lisa exhibit area is famous for pickpockets)
she's really tiny though, and we can only see her from afar. boooo.
unlike the Winged Victory of Samothrace statue, can see upclose.
(actually i forgot the name of this famous lady, googled for "lourve headless wing female statue" and the first result is that. google rules!!)
but also alot of crowd, see~~~~~

Louis Vuitton Palace, Venice
that's actually the Doge Palace, but i personally thought that must be where Louis Vuitton got the inspiration for his own logo! LOL.
okay i wiki-ed, it's not: "Its graphic symbols, including quatrefoils and flowers (as well as the LV monogram), were based on the trend of using Japanese and Oriental designs in the late Victorian era."
