cheapo asos buys

becoming quite an asos addict, thanks to my shopaholic colleagues. but i only target the sale items, otherwise the stuffs on asos is abit too expensive. i try not to buy expensive clothes online cuz cant try and shipping costs alot if i want to return.

this dress i havent worn before, meant to wear this to friends' weddings. but i didnt wanna look like a bridesmaid when im not. hahaha. looks really prom-ish lah, young. =__=

worn this once, it turned out to be super cream colour in real life. love the swallows, but Soot doesnt understand this dress and said it looks like pajamas. doh. quality quite gd lah.

this one i havent worn before, thinking of discarding it already. its too see-through even with the inner lining. should have bought the black one instead. must say this is the only dress that completely failed my expectations, and too late to return. hehz~

i bought the pink one for this, looks like it costs more than gbp9.50 pounds. wore it on chu yi. the one shoulder part is admittedly abit weird, but i like that mine is in a happy pink shade. can wear to wedding dinners lor. hehe~

love this one! looks totally expensive cuz the cloth is good quality de, and the design is good too. happy colour and i feel happy in it~~

wore this in Bangkok! overall quite like it~~ quite into playsuits now, but going to the toilet in a playsuit is a chore. haha.

also bought accessories! river island for SGD4 nia! the earrings turned out to be much bigger than i would have preferred. havent wore before still.

oh this ring is highly bling, love it! sissy complimented it also, twirled it around his finger for so long somemore. hahahaha. think it's still in stock now, so sissy can go buy. free shipping on all purchases regardless of amount! i bought this ring and the river island earrings in one order, gbp4 nia, they shipped a box to me FOC also.

hurhur quite proud of all my cheapo purchases on asos even though not all turned out fantastic, but i need to stop buying cuz i have so much clothes already!

my poor knees

having battled with chronic knee pains for slightly over a year, i've decided to seek alternative treatment for it.

my colleagues recommended me to visit this sinseh all the way in Bishan. they say he's good, he treated my colleagues' knee problems to full recovery before.

my dad went with me the first time, said he want to check out the authenticity of the sinseh. once my dad entered the clinic, he's bought over by the sinseh already. cuz he said he recognised the sinseh from the papers.

so i got treated for my knees and my dad got treated for his tennis elbow. and we both ended up getting "tak kor yok" by the sinseh.

we took a cab right outside the clinic, and the taxi uncle thought we father-daughter participated in a fight together hence the simulataneous injuries. ahahahhaa. hilarious~

the sinseh treated my right knee first cuz its more severe, then moved on to the left knee. he will do accupuncture on my knees, 5 needles each knee, then put some low currents through 2 of the needles each knee. then after 20min he will remove the currents and needles, do some tui na on the knees, then ba guan about 2 each knee, then tak kor yok. kor yok cannot touch water, remove the next day with warm water.

i wont say the treatment process is not painful at all, its common to sustain bruises from the ba guan and needles. but the pain during treatment is better that i expected, and its nothing compared to the chronic knee pain that i have been enduring for the past 1+year.

$50 per session, once a week, not cheap but i believe its worth it cuz i visited him 4x so far and my knees dont hurt already. cant really tell whether they have fully recovered until i resume yoga. but i remain hopeful that this alternative treatment will work!

sometimes if my knees dont hurt that much after treatment, i will take train home. and last week some hippie guy gave up his seat for me on the train! wahahahaha coool~~

Paul & Joe is some free gift that klj got and gave me, initially thought the colour wont suit me but turned out pretty well. China Glaze is from this "pasar malam" at Raffles Exchange, only $8 nia so im not so sure about the authenticity of it.

the ATs seriously cmi!!

the horror i went through in my SG-BKK Jetstar flight...

(1) i knew there will be trouble once i saw a group of AT tourists in the waiting area of my 3K 515 flight to BKK at Changi Airport. true enough, the ATs acted up as early as when boarding the plane.

the broadcast said rows 30-40 to board, but the ATs just rushed to the front of the line and wanted to board the plane. they got stopped by the non-chinese flight attendant, who told them in english its not their turn yet. obviously the ATs didnt understand, and insisted on boarding, and blocked every other passengers' way.

the ATs' tour guide repeated to the ATs in chinese again, to stand back and wait till it is their turn to board the plane. apparently the ATs didnt understand chinese either, and continued to block the way in a bid to board the plane. wah seriously already buey tahan.

(2) the ATs finally boarded the plane, then our turn to board. once we were inside the plane we saw that the ATs were taking their own sweet time to store away their many many handcarries in the overhead compartments, and thus causing a human jam on the aisle.

i swear i heard the Singaporean stranger behind me say out loud "omg they are really a bunch of idiots!!". wahahahaha i was super amused by him~

(3) then we heard the ATs' tour guide screamed to them, asking them to sit as they were assigned. ATs didnt. and they didnt disappoint me by occupying our seats as well.

i have to admit i was secretly happy that they occupied our seats, cuz that gave me the perfect reason to walk up to them and said in a polite tone but rude face "these are our seats". they had the guts to ask me if both are mine or just one seat, in a rude way, but of course.

(3) one male AT was left in my row, taking the window seat. me in the centre beside the AT, ah yaa by the aisle. even before the plane took off, male AT kept walking in and out of his seat to talk to his AT friends sitting at the back. he didnt bother saying excuse me before he walked in and out, just went ahead and squeezed his disgusting ass across infront of me WTF.

and it doesnt help that my very "kind" travelmate sitting right behind me kept making yellow in/out funny jokes at me in chinese. my "kind" travelmate heng, she got a well-mannered Singaporean stranger sit beside her, so honestly she should just quietly empathise with me. argh~

anyways, after a couple times of the AT walking in and out, i buey tahan-ed and demanded him to stop. he stopped, thank goodness.

(4) there were some empty rows infront of me and ah yaa, so we asked the cute angmoh steward with Brit accent if we can sit there instead (and be away from the AT). the cute steward cutely rejected us and said those are emergency exit seats, need to pay extra to enjoy the extra legroom there. we were disappointed but okay, we stayed put in our predicament. sigh~ the cute steward was our only consolation from the flight though.

but! my AT's friends from the back of the plane crawled to those roomy seats infront and sat their fat asses down comfortably without asking, only to be politely chased away shortly after by the steward who also provided them with the reason in chinese.

u think those ATs would understand and stayed away, but no! those fat-assed ATs went back to those seats again once the steward walked off, only to be chased away by ANOTHER steward. how dumb can they be?? they are just not gonna let u sit there, dont u idiots get it???

(5) it seriously doesnt help that this fateful flight is very much delayed due to the Air Show, we were stuck in the plane at Changi for an hour before finally taking off. which means an hour is added to my torture.

after take off, my AT took out a bag of *gasp* MELON SEEDS and started crunching and munching on them on the plane!!!

WTF seriously the ATs' slap-o-meter got higher and higher with every melon seed that he crunched. to make it worse, i think i felt his saliva rained on me with each crunch. seriously do normal people spew so much saliva when crunching melon seeds?? ahhhhhhhhh fuck my life!!! i swear if that ass had H1N1, i confirm dio spread!

(5) food trolley finally came to us, we bought cup noodles and drinks. because of the saliva situation on my side i had to put my food on ah yaa's tray table instead lor. then when the steward asked if the AT wanted anything, the AT asked if there's any FREE food. on a BUDGET airline. omfg these country bumpkins should seriously just stay in AT-land!!! ahhhhhhhh this must be my karma!!!

steward politely said all items are payable, and the AT frowned and went on to happily crunch his melon seeds. i honestly pity the stewards and stewardesses in that flight, money is hard to earn when u have so many ATs on flight. and i pity the ATs' tour guide also, she's like a zookeeper futilely trying to control her huge bunch of monkeys gone wild!! omfgggggggg~~

please dont let me dio any ATs in my NYC flight!! *bo bi bo bi*

this is the 500baht (sgd20) manicure with nailart that i had done at this nail cum hair salon in Bangkok MBK....

can you believe my manicurist is a guy?? its a really good job done, i loved it very much... except that it doesnt last at all...

they all started flaking out within days, maybe cuz they use cheaper nail polishes?

haha sorry for kinda disgusting image there, i find it really therapeutic to peel off my nail polish finger by finger. LOLOLOL~

if the nail polish can come off in one whole, does that mean the base coat sucks? or isit my nails that suck? boooo my manicures always dont last de.... =(((

just watched it on my iphone, tiong show that made it big in the box office, some scenes are really gross and retarded, simply cannot understand. but i cant stop LOL-ing at the 67th minute of the movie.

the 67th minute goes that Chow Yun Fatt wanted to frame this group of bandits, so CYF sent his guys to break into a family and raped the wife infront of the husband.

wife and husband went to the ya men next day to lodge a report. hence, the leader of the bandit went to interrogate all his ka kias.


ka kia #1 said "大哥，你是了解我的。如果是我的话，不会有人活着来告状。"


fair enough, since they are bandits.

dab dab dab on them using a porous dishwashing sponge, transfer the paint to ur nails, then apply a glittery layer over them!

the "tray" is Capitamall's bond issue prospectus, by the way. my colleagues and i were tempted to buy but didnt in the end, so the prospectus ended up being our "food tray". save the earth! LOLOLOL.

korean vampire!

it started from the pioneer vampires Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise....

Interview with the Vampire, the movie which i totally dont get but still watched for the sake of the vampires anyways. Brad looks crappy as a vamp, however.

to the albino ish Edward Cullen in the Twilight series....

i think Robert Pattinson is nowhere like the Edward in the original book though, but i still watched all 4 of the Twi series anyways wahahahaha.

then there's the HOT Salvatore brothers in Vampire Diaries....

Damon (right) is much hotter than Stefan (left), imo. Elena is definitely hot. plot is exciting too~~~

and then i read that there's a new korean drama called Vampire Prosecutor....

did not hesitate to download it at all! wahahaha.

i think blue eyes, black eyeshadow and fangs work on korean vampires too! wahahahaha.

the drama is about this vampire who is also a prosecutor in real life and uses his extraordinary vamp abilities to help him solve crimes.

in the beginning the plot was more about him being a prosecutor rather than a vampire, but the criminal cases are rather interesting so its watchable for me. but the ending part about where he found out the truth about his sister who was "killed" by a vampire was super exciting! 4/5 stars! hurhur~

my god-uncle's 40 year-old sister-in-law on the right is super chio for her age, by the way. okay the photo is fugly and not flattering lah. hahaha.

#3 lo hei - Sichuan Douhua super atas lo hei with colleagues, seriously overpriced. >_<

#4 lo hei - modest vegetarian lo hei dabao-ed from baibai place. the "yusheng" tastes like fen tiao. haha.

#5 lo hei - comes together with Dor's Grand Park City Hall burfdae buffet dinner. super not yummy, eugh.

#6 lo hei - department lo hei! RBS sheng yi xing long ah! so that we can sheng zhi jia xin ah!

its interesting to see how people eat yusheng: some eat yusheng without the yu, some people eat only the yu, some people only eat the crunchy biscuit thingy (which is super common), some people eat everything but painstakingly pick out the ginger, some people just lo but dont eat at all (then how u absorb all the luck??). i eat everything! lols.
